On 22 January 2013, I noticed that Vodacom has taken an amount of R493.91 from my bank, I acted on the matter immediately as this amount took me into arrears with my bank, by calling Vodacom Customer Care. The consultant advised me of making an affidavit by the police station as I have explained to her that I have not opened any line with Vodacom recently. I did as advised and requested Vodacom to close that line immediately and that R493.91 be deposited back into my account. Seemingly Vodacom never bothered to solve my problem because on 16 February 2013, Vodacom deducted the amount of R1108.08 and in this instance I almost fainted because I do not afford such an amount. Someone at Vodacom is not doing his or her job properly because first of all how can one open a line without a recent payslip and recent bank statement because one could see that i donot afford this line secondly I reported this on 22 January 2013 and still deducted this huge amount of R1108.08 on 16 February 2013. Thirdly Vodacom has never contacted me about this line. I am struggling financially beacause Vodacom is taking for ever to sort out my problem. I am in arrears in my bank. I contact the everyday.
