High amount paid/Insufficient information provided

On the 7/10/2013 I took out a new contract with Vodacom. I was asked to pay an amount of R202.00 of which R105 was paid at the store and was told that an amount of R97.00 will be deducted from my account after connection. Instead an amount of R278.61 was deducted and when I called I was told that its pro rata. This was never explained to me when I was at the store and this is not the first time i take out a contract with vodacom and such has never happened. My bank reversed this transaction as there wasnt enough to cater for what vodacom had deducted. I was charged R 115 by my bank, vodacom R483.61 Really now is this proper? I'm really not happy with this.
