In mar2012 I took up a cellphone contract with vodacom. I never missed any payments on my account until vodacom added a new line on my contract without my consent. I called immediately to have it cancelled and reported a. I sent them both my ID and affidavit on hope that the matter will be resolved before it hurts me.
Yesterday my line was blocked as the additional line is in arrears. I have been waiting for more than a month for vodacom to finalise the investigation and I have been told that while they are still investigating I have to pay for the additional line.
This isnt fair to me as a consumer who has been nothing but loyal to vodacom, till today nobody has come to me with feedback on the investigation which means I will continue paying for a line opened fradulently.
For me to get assistance from vodacom I have to answer multiple security questions which leaves me wondering how did the get pass that, obviously nothing is secure. The arreares on my account will soon start to reflect on my bureau performance which will impact me negatively where as this was not my fault. I need urgent help in having vodacom resolve this.
