Vodacom
FAULTY HANDSET

I took out a top up contract at Vodacom Centurion on 22 November 2012. Three weeks later the phone just died and would not come on, i took it back and they said that the software had crashed and that they had reloaded new software. On the 27th day of December, the same thing happened, i had to cut short my holiday and took the phone in on the third of January 2013, this time the problem was with the battery. I was told that they fixed it. on the 23rd of January the same problem occured, i took it back and the engineers report came saying that there was nothing wrong with the phone, i must just press the power button and volume up button each time the phone dies. Is this how a brand new device should work? I asked them to take the phone to the manufacturer, they refused, saying that it needs to have been booked on their system three times before its taken to manufaturer and according to their records it had been booked once, when i brought it back the second time it was done manually, why was it done manually. What irkes me is that Vodacom Centurion are washing their hands off this handset, which is sad regrettable.
