A while ago my handset started turning off by itself and only could get back on with a battery pull. When I took it in, I was told to get a new battery but that did not help. I took in the device to get repaired as I had tried reloading the software to test. Vodacom only reloaded the software again and never tested the device. I had to go back in and show them again. This time the repair took 2 weeks and I received a "refurbished" phone back. The problem is now only reduced as the device only randomly rebooted itself which I thought I could live with. Now a few months later, the device is rebooting more frequently and today in 10 minutes rebooted 6 or 7 times before I could use it. The issue is that I must now go back to vodacom, sit in a queue for an hour, explain it all again, to wait for 2 weeks to get back another faulty device. I am convinced this device is broken and the previous repair and testing was not done good enough. I have been treating this device like it is made of crystal in as I don't want it to break and I do not want to go through this again.
