Vodacom
Cell Phone unrepairable

I've been a Vodacom contract holder since 2005 and have an average monthly spend of about R600. I've renewed/upgraded my contract 12 March 2013, the handset I chose was a Samsung Galaxy Ace.
Right from the start the phone gave me trouble in the sense of the software that were "hanging" this caused the phone to be unable to receive or make calls. The only way I could get the phone working again was to switch it off and on, this needed to be done about 6 to 7 times per day. Contract was renewed in Menlyn.
I took the phone into the Brooklyn Vodashop on 8 April 2013 and explained the problem, the following was done: PCB replaced. The phone was handed back on 12 April, no handset was offered while this brand new phone was in for repair. The phone continued giving the same trouble and I took it back to Brooklyn on 18 June 2013, following was done: engineer report N.F.F. I assume this means that they found there was nothing wrong. The phone continued with the same problem and I took it to Vodacom Kolonade and they wanted to send it away again since "there is something wrong with the software". I REFUSED and bought another handset cash. I find it unacceptable that I have to beg Vodacom!
