Phone problem

I took my blackberry torch for repairs. Phone not reading memory card. It came back and worked for a few weeks and it was back to not reading the memory card. I elevated the problem to Vodaworld Midrand and after the said repairs it worked for a week and was back to square 1. I took it to Vodashop Witbank at which I was told there's nothing they can do except formatting the memory card. Asked for the backup of the memory card with all the info and they said they can't back it up. I'm not sure what to do anymore. I'm just using the phone which still doesn't read the memory card.
