False advertising

I was looking for a bookshelf and came across Decofurn. All the more affordable shelves were out of stock. I got a pop-up message: "Join the Decofurn Family now and receive R300 off your first order." I joined, added my bookshelf to the cart, and when I wanted to use my promo code, it was not valid for the item I wanted. Needless to say, I will buy a similar one somewhere else.
