I upgraded my contract on the 13th of December 2013 and also purchased a flip cover in store to protect my new phone. It really looked stunning, until 3 weeks later when it started fraying and looking terrible. Last week Wednesday I went back to the store and showed the shop assistant my now terrible looking flip cover. I requested a refund as I don't want it replaced. I don't want the same problem 3 weeks from now! She advised me that it can be exchanged, but not refunded and they didn't have stock in store. My question is, if the CPA states that the consumer has the right to request a refund if goods are damaged, why am I not entitled to a refund??
