I have been a Vodacom Platinum customer for a few years now and have been due upgrade since June 2013. I have been waiting for the launch of the iPhone 5C to upgrade. On Friday last week (15th Nov) I called 0821903 to complete the upgrade. The assistant emailed me the necessary forms to sign and I sent them back the same day (Ref: EC-ZHAN-3TACL0). I was informed that my handset would be delivered on Monday 18th due to the fact that I was a platinum customer.

By Tuesday I had not received anything and I called 0821903 for an update. I was informed that Vodacom had a backlog with the courier company but that my handset was due for delivery Thursday 21st November.

On Thursday I called 0821903 for a third update and I was informed that my handset had not been dispatched as my upgrade was not completed as a copy of my ID was still outstanding. Strange as a I have been a vodacom customer for a number of years now...

As you can imagine this is disappointing to say the least.

What is further frustrating is I emailed the Platinum service desk and have had no reply...
