Upgrade delivery not 24 hours

I was promised delivery by today, no later after I did my upgrade telephonically on the 3rd. I called today, firstly the upgrade call center cannot be reached on 0821959, so I called Vodacom sales, they can only tell me the handset is in Cape Town somewhere, so I called RAM myself, they do not even have the handset in Cape Town yet, and cannot tell me when it will be delivered. I am very upset as I will not be in office tomorrow, so how am I supposed to receive my handset before the weekend as promised and advertised by Vodacom?? My order number U571976. Is it really too much to ask for for a promise by a company to be honoured for once, Vodacom, step up.
