First of all, I would like to say I was always happy with Vodacom until today. I have done an upgrade on one of my 4 contracts yesterday (6th November) over the phone at the upgrades department with the thought that the phone will be delivered to my door the next day if I do the upgrade before 12h00 - as it is advertised like that on the Vodacom Online upgrade webpage.
And so it happens: the only phone that was available (out of my choices) according to the agent that assisted me was the IPhone 5, 32GB, White!!! I was told that delivery will take place tomorrow, by the latest on Friday.
After waiting for 3 hours I phoned Vodacom this morning, to track the order. Only to get told by an agent in the Upgrades department that the phone is out of stock. I asked her if I could speak to a manager please, then she asked me to hold on... Guess what, she put me through to the customer satisfaction rating!!!
So once again, I phoned back. Furious at this point in time, chose customer service, only to reach the network dep. A manager of the upgrades dep. is handling this now, and will come back to me before day end cause he needs to listen to the calls first!!! Another day wasted!!!
