I was talked into a package in order to have a twin sim. I wasn't informed that my airtime was only available after hours, when I wouldn't need my phone anyway.
There was an emergency today, and I had to rush a friend to hospital. I was listed as next of kin, and my number was given as a reference to doctors, hospital, and mutual friends. Because my main mobile wasn't fully charged, I took the one with the twin sim - and guess what, IT DIDN'T WORK AT ALL. The message I received was that the number was not registered on the network. I could do nothing, and people who were trying to enquire about my friend's condition were unable to get hold of me.
Nobody knew where I was, and were in a panic because they couldn't find me all day.
When I finally got home, I was told by Vodacom to go into one of their shops to have it sorted out. What a cheek. I'm paying for a service that I don't even have - and this was an emergency. Fix this up Vodacom, and don't expect me to go to the trouble of sorting out your error!
