Vodacom have been advertising the Iphone 4S for R199 pm for many weeks. I was due for an upgrade 01.10.'13.Before my upgrade was due I emailed vodacom to enquire about this phone to which I had no response. On 05.10.'13 I phoned Upgrades & was put through to different people & it would turn out that there was no stock & a marketing issue. I made peace with it. On 19.10.'13 I received an email: "Kindly be advised that the Iphone 4 and 4s has been discontinued, however the iphone 4 online deals will still be available till we no longer have stock and until such time that the deals have been removed off the online deals page."My response was that I had tried to do the upgrade online but encounted an error. I was advised to phone the inter-active sales department. The gentlemen was very helpful and processed my upgrade. I was told the delivery would take 3-5 working days. I then received a message saying it was on back order. I phoned today and after speaking to 3 people was told I would be waitng a while & could consider cancelling as I may never get it due to stock issues. Why upgrade me to that then?! I'm tired of being messed around & considering going with another network provider!
