Incompetent call centre agents

In December I did an upgrade specifically asking for delivery in January when back from holidays. Was called by the couriers in December wanting to deliver new phone which I was not able to accept so the phone was returned by them to Vodacom. On return from holidays I have been trying to track down my new phone via the upgrades call centre and online call centre. The first day I tried I was simply passed from department to department getting a different story each time and not one of the 5 people I spoke to could help me. As soon as the agent isn't quiet sure (or too lazy to dig a bit further) you get passed to a new department. Eventually on day 2 of trying I insisted that I not be transferred and guess what, they could actually access my details and help me. I was told that I would have do do the whole upgrade again which was supposedly done and when I asked for a reference number was told I would get all the details via SMS. No SMS's so I called again today and was told that an email was sent to reissue the delivery of my phone and I should get it in 3 to 4 days... lets see. Hopefully mine will have a sim card unlike my wife's when her new phone arrived today!
