Since October last year, I have been plagued with defective Black Berry Devices that have been exchanged through the repairs process. I have spent hours, cumulatively with Vodacom in trying to resolve the issue. The latest Black Berry, in count of 5 or 6 devices in total, does not even start up. Is it not the obligation of Vodacom to provide the end user with a device that is in working order. I would like to think so. I have on numerous occasions aired my view that Black Berry is not suitable for my use and Vodacom needs to provide me with a different brand of Smart Phone. Being a platinum customer holds no grounds with Vodacom at this point as I am still without a Blackberry. If Vodacom can not provide me with a device that functions in terms of the conditions of my contract with Vodacom, then I should be release from this contract and allowed to move to a different service provider that is not ripping me off monthly.
