Faulty Black Berry from the start

I entered into a contract with 8 ta / telkom for a Black Berry 9900[The first one i returned the next day as it was faulty and it was replced.within a week or so of receiving the 2nd one i had issues with the space bar randomly placing a full stop, I had a vodacom technician confirm that this was a hard ware or key pad fault. I did ask at the knysna branch what i was to do and it had to be sent away to jhb with approx 3 to 4 week turn around .this would not suit me at all and decided to live with the little irritating isssue.however with in months the phone started numerous problems both a hard ware as well as software.none of which soft ware updates could resolve.after Christmas holidays i took it in to be sent away, only to be told that the repairs are R3600 and the warranty has expired. I was too late by literally days. I was never informed that by going with black berry there would be only one year warranty on the device.now I have a whole year contract left with a phone that has so many problems that all started within the warranty period.8ta says there is nothing they can do .this is grossly unfair as none was due to my negligence .customer service???
