Vodacom Onyx or Platinum Membership Hoax

I received SMS from Vodacom
"Welcome, your Vodacom membership has been upgraded to Onyx! - For more information please call 082111"
1. I called 082111 - After 10 min of interigation on verifying my details - The operator could not help neither could explain to me what the Onyx upgrade benefit me as valued costumer. "please call 082 1940"
2. I called 082 1940 - Same as above - now I need to call 082 1930
3. I called 082 1930 - Waited for 13 min online with no answer from an operator
4. I called 082 111 - Spoke to operator and requested to speak to the manager from the Onyx department - she could not transfer me and replied that she shall log the service call and get someone to phone me back with in 24hrs - I received an SMS "reef S3-T6P1E-E8ML5" on the 01 Nov 2013 @ 08:44am - I have not received any communication from Vodacom.
5. I called again the so called Onyx department on the 04 Nov 2013 @ 09:49am waited again for -6 min for an operator to answer - an operator from the 082111 call center answered and wanted my phone number as password to transfer me to Onyx dep - She could not transfer me after providing her with the details.
