I want to port to cell c

I recently decided to leave vodacom and take my number with and port to cell c, now I bought the SIM card sms'd as required on the packaging and got an SMS "Thank you for your request to port to Cell C! Your reference is 20130408174124CELLCcell no10212. To cancel this request, please call 084PORT2US. Cell C" then a few minutes after got this SMS "Sorry, your current operator has declined your port. Contact your nearest Cell C store or your operator. (decline ref no. 20130408174124CELLCcellno10212)" I've called vodacom and was told my case would be escalated and I got an SMS from them "Dear Customer, Your call has been assigned as A1-NUZ5-HCM2QV.
Thank You. Vodacom Customer Care, 082111." And I haven't received any feedback I called the call center they said they see no reason why my number shouldn't port and I went to a cell c store in east in east London they told me to contact vodacom I wanna take my number with cause I can't afford to just change it plz help anyone I'm sick of this
