I recently took out a cell c contract for my baby sister. After a month i realised that i needed to put a limit of R50 on the phone. So i contacted cell c, at that month end my bill came out R100 more than the limit. I called customer care and i was told that i had asked for the limit change mid month, the limit will be in effect the following month. Atthe end of the follwing month my bill arrived and it was R100 more than the limit. I called cell c and they say the limit is active but there are monthly service fees on the phone which are paif for from the airtime thats why the limit "didnt work". I told them im nothappy because i askedfor a limit on the phone and they still allowcharges on the phone. I asked them to removethe monthly service fee, the consultant said n, i asked why, he said the account is blocked cause ofthe limit, he can only remove the sevice fees after the 1st. I am angrybecaus i gave strictinstructions for a limit an it was mot adherd to and when i asked for the service to be cancelled they refused to do it. This is robberybecause i have to pay another exorbitant bill in Nov cause the service fee wasnt removed as per my instruction. Cell c rips people off!!!
