On 30 April I phoned Cell C and asked them to set my total monthly usage limit to R500. Two days later I received a SMS which stated that my out of bundle usage limit is now R500, so yet again on the same day I phoned them saying that I want a total usage limit of R500.
The lady who answered said that they will then have to set my monthly out of bundle usage to R100 since my contract fee is R400. I said that is perfect. So she confirmed that my monthly usage will never be above R500 from then on. I even received a SMS confirming that my monthly out of bundle limit is now R100. This was on 2 May. So great was my surprise this morning when I had a look at my bank statement and more than R1100 has been deducted from my bank account by Cell C!
What is going on here?
I never even received a SMS saying that I went over my monthly usage limit. I work on a very tight budget and Cell C deducted money which I already committed to other purposes. If you can sort this out for me as soon as possible please.
