Once you have signed the contract they don't care about you BUT they will make sure YOU will pay for repairs. This was not damages caused by me.
I've got a Nokia 820 on contract, the software crashed and they fixed it, MOOI.Then the screen went blank again and we sent it in again.there was a proper inspection in the Vodacom shop R/Bay on any misuse BUT the Gateway repairs specialist found a "cracked LCD". They could have found 10 other things and quote them all outside the warrantee, how will I proof them wrong. Even the courier could have caused it.
The quote R 1992, take it leave it broken and keep on paying R 400/mth for the rest of the 18 mths.
Vodacom, you're unfair and you know it. I did not damage the phone but I will pay the R400/mth because I'm caught in your contract.
I would like to warn everybody againts this unfair practise of VODACOM, there is lots of other cellphone distributors that will look after you.
