On the 26th of September I recieved my monthly statement from MTN as usual, but strangely this time the statement was way over the expected amount of R479, instead it was R5743 this totally shocked me so I gave MTN a call just to confirm how much I am being billed for the month of September, the consultant said R5743, I asked her to e-mail my statement which confirmed the amount of R5743, but with no details as to how I got to that amount, so I called MTN again and requested Itemized billing, and the consultant explained that there are third party companies by the name of Via-Media and Smart technologies who are charging me a ridiculous amount on a per second rate, the MTN consultant instructed me to give these companies () a call and request them to refund the money, I did so but the strange person on the other side of the line blunlty told me that it would not be possible to refund the money, I feel cheated and I do not know what to do anymore as MTN is giving me the run around. I cannot pay this amount I don't understand why MTN would agree to such nonsense, and treat there customers this way, I have been under contract with MTN for 3 years now
