Refund frustrations

Last year September I paid up one of my contracts in full. I was given a settlement quote and it was settled. I noticed that my bank account was not been debited for my monthly cell phone account on my other number. When I checked online, my statement reflected a negative amount of -R800 . I called Vodacom last week Monday to query this negative amount. The consultant told me that there is a credit on my account due to the fact that I paid up one of my contracts last year. So my current monthly bill is been deducted from the credit amount so I requested a refund instead. I was told to fax through the proof of payment, which by the way I already sent last year when I settled my other contract. Where is that proof of payment?? Now today I'm been told by Pravishee that it's going to take 7-14 working days before I get my refund, which means that by the 20th I might only receive the refund! That is unacceptable!! I faxed the proof of payment on the 5th, and it was only processed on the 11th!!! No refund should take this long! This is my money that Vodacom is hogging. If I was quoted the correct settlement amount in the first place, I wouldn't be having this issue!
