I was phoned by a Vodacom consultant and told that since I a have been with the network for almost 10 years I was being rewarded with R130 airtime every month for the set price of R120. I informed this gentleman that I was a full time student and had a part time income that would not always be there; he responded all is well and fine and that should it stop I must phone and tell the network provider and we would work something out. I have just done that only to be told that this is for 24months and that I should pay 75% of the total amount or risk being handed over and that this gentleman to me as he was doing his job ie. selling contracts so that's my the situation and unfortunately so. I am fuming because Vodacom's sales man to me and now I am being told that it is my fault??? If you cant trust your network provider now how bad is it going to get. I just want this to be resolved and for salesmen to stop using sly and snaky tactics; misinforming the customer and hoping all works out. As soon as this is all sorted I am changing networks as I do not like being to nor do I see it fit for me to always worry about whether I am being caught out or not.
