I was upgraded 2 weeks ago to a more expensive package, I spend more than a R1000 each month, I have been a loyal customer with Vodacom for more than 8 years now. I upgraded to a Samsung S3 LTE phone, in the first 3 days, the phoned didn't want to register on the mobile network, Vodacom Menlyn was helpful and switched the brand new phone for another new phone after 2 days. Today again, my phone just magically jumped off the network, when phoning Vodacom they say sorry Vodacom doesn't support 4g / LTE much in Pretoria, if I was in midrand it would work, but now i Live in pretoria!!! so how is this my problem, I buy an expensive phone, have an expensive bill each month which I always pay, but I am not allowed on the latest greatest LTE 4G network??? I don't have time to take my phone in each time it jumps off the network? now I sit with a brand new phone, and cannot use it??? do I now after 8 years need to go search for a service provider that does support 4G / LTE??? it is extremely disappointing really, I have very nicely always told cell c, mtn and who ever phoned me not to bug me cause I LOVE vodacom... but now I am pressured to leave. Can someone explain?
