4 days huh?

I have a Vodacom LTE 4G modem which packed up for - no reason.
Its not as if the modem gets used in different locations on different devices.
Its always plugged into the same PC.
OK - I suppose DWANG happens.
Called Vodacom, spent a century of time on the phone with a "technician" to try every single trick she could think of to waste my time.
Eventually she told me to take it to ANY Vodacom store to check it - only to be told that I must take it to a Vodacom store with a data centre.
So I had to go to Hatfield Galleries in Pretoria which is the "closest" data centre to Akasia/Pretoria North. Tested the stick, was told to go to 4th floor to get it exchanged for another one.
No no no - it has to be sent away to be repaired. It'll take about 4 days. Its 7 days now. I get a sms every now and then to notify me the stick arrived at the repair centre. 3 days later the assessment process moment arrived. Up to today nothing additional has happened. I need to work. I can't keep on changing my work schedule based on Vodacom's bad information.
