Vodacom does not care part 1

My IPhone 5 was unable to charge and the screen went red. I went to the VDS 1 of sales assistants told me that my phone was beyond repair. I went back because I was under the impression that I could upgrade (few weeks earlier vodacom phoned me & told me I could upgrade) When I got to the VDS told me I was not due for an upgrade but I could send my phone in for repairs. So I did send my phone in for repairs. Received SMS stating that they are assessing the phone after this I received a SMS that said that my phone requires a higher level of repair and has been sent to JHB for further assessment. 2 days later I received a SMS that my handset was being assessed and currently allocated to an engineer. I received the following SMS that only after a while would make me realise how incompetent or lazy the staff at Vodacom Data store really are. "Dear customer, an estimate of R3988.86 has been generated on job 9128093. Contact Vodacom data store Tygervalley 0219149745." So I phoned them and they told me to reply yes/no. After this received the same SMS & phoned VDS again & they told me to ignore SMS. I phoned repairs & they told me this info was incorrect & that VDS was suppose to notify.Us
