On 8 August I phoned Vodacom 082 1950 to order a new contract & phone. I was told the phone was in stock and completed the application. On Monday 12 Aug I phoned Vodacom to get an update on the delivery. Was then told the phone I ordered was not in stock. Then I phoned administration 011767 4134 to change the order to a phone that was available. I very specifically asked for a specific phone and was told it would take 48hours to change the order. Today 15 Aug I phoned 082 1950 to get a status update, very friendly & helpful consultant confirmed my order - the WRONG phone. The previous administrator/consultant had put on the phone that I said I definitely was NOT interested in. Now they had to put in a change of order again - which takes 48hours - again! (The whole online ordering system is also a joke - I put in online requests 2 times and no-one ever responded - therefore used the phone-in service) These services are supposed to speed up the process - next day delivery etc etc - HA! Really disgusted with Vodacom.
