Ongoing Electrical Issues and Damages After Solar System Upgrade

We would like to formally raise a serious concern regarding our solar system installation and the ongoing issues we have been experiencing since the upgrade.

Since the system was upgraded with 4 additional panels and 1 extra battery, we have encountered continuous electrical problems. A fault was first logged on 13 January 2026, and since then we have reported, almost daily, that the trip switches on our main board have been tripping.

We have lived at these premises for over 30 years and have been running a business here for 10 years, and we have never experienced such issues prior to the installation of the solar system.

An electrician was sent out and rewired the entire board. However, the situation worsened significantly thereafter. We have experienced multiple damages, including:

- Kitchen lights blowing
- Downlights damaged
- 3 microwaves damaged
- Scale charger damaged
- Continuous failure of electrical bulbs

These damages have resulted in increased costs and disruption to our business operations.

We escalated the matter, and your team advised that a specialist would be sent to investigate. Technicians did attend, inspected the system, and ultimately disconnected the solar system completely, advising that they would return. To date, the system remains disconnected.

Despite this, our account continues to be debited monthly for a system we are currently unable to use. At the same time, our electricity costs have increased, along with the financial burden of replacing damaged appliances.

We are extremely dissatisfied with the current situation and request the following as a matter of urgency:

- Immediate resolution and repair of the solar system
- A full technical report on what caused the damages
- Reimbursement or compensation for damaged appliances
- Suspension of billing until the system is fully operational
- Feedback on when the system will be reinstated

We trust that this matter will be treated with the urgency it deserves.
