Vodacom
No delivery of Macbook Pro

Last week I ordered a Macbook Pro on a My Gig 1 standard contract. I am still waiting for delivery. Numerous calls to the online support department only to be told the Macbooks are on back order. Yesterday I was told that they have stock of the Macbooks, but not the USB modem (K4305) that forms part of the package. This modem has been discontinued, and I should phone 011 767 4000 to have it swopped to a different modem so the order can be released. I have phoned this number countless times, and for the most part there was no answer, or I got put through to a Vodacom person only for the call to be dropped. I finally got through to someone this morning, but they are having system issues and he would have phoned me back in 5 minutes. That was more than an hour ago. This is completely unacceptable. Especially considering that I was not informed about the modem via email - I had to find this out only because I phoned them. Why is it my problem if the modem was discontinued? Surely Vodacom knows this and could easily amend the order and release it asap. I ordered this product a week ago, and I am demanding delivery. I can't stand the thought of having to phone Vodacom again.
