After numerous attempts to upgrade to the iPhone 5s I finally managed to get through to a consultant. I specifically asked if they have stock of the phone I want and she said yes. However, I was told at the end that I cannot have the phone delivered to an address other than my billing one. I then had to cancel that upgrade order and she told me I must go into a store. This did not help as none of the Vodacom stores near us could tell me when they would be getting the iPhone 5s.
I decided to call back to double check about the delivery address. I got through to a consultant who informed me that there would be no problem in sending it to my place of work. I went ahead with the upgrade and she said they only have silver and space grey left (fine as I wanted space grey). I was told delivery would take place in 3-5 days (which is not what you claim for a phone that is in stock).
To my disgust when I log onto Vodacom to check the status it says my upgrade is on back-order. Now when I phone suddenly nobody knows when you will get stock. Not once was I told this by a consultant.
Why are your consultants lying about stock availability?
