I want to know how can a supplier charge an additional cost of R100 for a debit order that has not been paid. Firstly the account was paid up to date and then no correspondence received to say there is still an amount outstanding and they cut the phone off. When I called the customer service center I did not get any assistance from the first person I spoke to and he was just rude and unhelpful. After having to call back again I spoke to Innocent who managed to explain to me what was happening. I still want to see where in the contract it states that I can be charged R100 for a debit order that it is paid. I know the bank will charge me for this but why will Vodacom also charge me for this. The Vodacom Shop in Springs has also confirmed that this should not be happening as they do not have this on their contracts.
