A debit order had failed at the beginning of July (Debit order A). I knew that at the beginning of August there would most likely not be enough money in my account to to make a payment, so I made a double payment to cover that. Then, for some unknown reason (at the time), you tried to debit an amount of R101 in August (Debit order B). Which bounced, because I didn't know about it.
The R100 was for a penalty fee for when a debit order fails from you, I had forgotten about the penalty fee, I signed the contract it in 2007. I disputed the fee on the grounds that when I signed the contract the penalty fee was significantly less; I had never been notified of the increase; and I had not been notified that you would be deducting a penalty fee. I eventually paid hoping the charge would be refunded later, as I need my phone.
Here's the kicker: You then proceeded to charge me and additional, R100, for the failure of debit order B, which I have now refused to pay.
I want these penalty fees reversed, I want to be reimbursed for the bank charges you have caused me, and we want the re-connect fee wavered. I will not pay a cent until.
