7 DAYS WITHOUT MY CELL NUMBER -- LOST R10 000

I am Complaining about a major Problem. I had a Sim Card with MTN for 16 years. 2 and a half years ago I took a Top up Contract out through One to One Foschini Group. The Contract ran its course and I decided not to renew it, not knowing I would lose my number.

After 16 years of MTN and having the same number, I lost my number, I had to go through a heavy mission of getting my number back. It has been a week and still my phone is not working, I have been to MTN 6 times this past week, phoned them about 17 times. One to One handed the number back to me but MTN still has not delivered.

They instructed me to buy a sim card, get my number ricad they said they would put it back on pay as you go. It is still not working, I am a freelance worker and within this week lost out on work to the value of R10 000.

I phone 173 everyday, I have a sim number and my old number back but MTN cannot activate it and noone there seems to know what is going on.

I keep getting told my number will work within 78 hours and the engineers are working on it but it is not happening.
