I think that I'm have been unfairly punished with the deduction you made on my account. Let me explain. When I arrived at Avis offices at 19h50 on 3 July at King Shaka airport, it was already dark. On arriving at the desk, your rep indicated that I was given an upgrade. This was done without me asking. After the paper work was done, he gave me the car keys and told me to have a good trip. Arriving at my car in the parking area, nobody was around. I assumed that the car was checked by an Avis inspector. I drove off to my destination.
The following morning I received a whatt''s app message instructing me to take photos of the car and license disk. I did that and sent the photos through. The slight bump was still not noted by me or my son in law.
On returning the car To Avis, clean, fuel filled up in the afternoon of 8 Jul, an inspector was now waiting for me to check the vehicle. He immediately told me that a slight bump was noticed on the boot door. I went to look and could nor see anything. Then the inspector came forward and opened the door for the sunlight to shine on it. I still could not see it. He told me to feel with my hand. I could barely see and feel the bump. He told me to fill in a query form indicating that nobody inspected the car when I collected it and that I was not aware of the bump. As can be seen on your report to me, I hardly ever rode the vehicle.
So now I have a few questions :
Why was the upgrade and this car given to me without me asking for it?
B. Why was there no inspector checking my car before leaving the premises?
C. Did the returning inspector submit my query form?
D. Request that the photos I took of the car, be sent to me.
E. How would I know that this was not an old bump?
I trust that this query will be investigated and answered as I cannot afford to loose so much money as a pensioner. I still have not received any photos of the car I took.
