My previous contract with Vodacom had expired so I was phoned relentlessly by a Vodacom supplier, I eventually decided to listen to what one of the very eager young sales people had to say and what they had to flog.
They suggested I upgrade to their Super Large contract as I would save money and get a new Iphone 5. Sounded like a good deal so I said yes please sign me up for yet another 2 yr sentence with Vodacom. That was on the 15th of July 2013.
I was told that my new hand set would be delivered to me within 7 working days and the new contract was to start on the 1st August. I kept calling to ask about the status of my handset but was told that the white Iphones were in back order. I called on the 1st August to let them know once again that my handset had not arrived and my new contract had started. Only to be informed that if I had not received my handset they could not start the new contract!
I was never given this info. None of this was my fault. Vodacom refuses to start my new contract until next month. No phone, No contract and Vodacom refuses to take any responsibility.
They hound you for business, charge exorbitant prices and then treat you like!
