Wrong billing

On the 18th July 2013 I went to altech autopage at the diamond pavilion mall in kimberley. I wanted to do a migration from a talk 500 to a Vodacom red vip contract. This was to save money and a consultant informed me a couple of months ago about this and said it would work out cheaper. On this day the consultant that helped me said that the migration will kick in on the 23rd but that I would be charged pro rata for the remainder of the July month. I switched off my data on my phone qnd and barley made any calls as I was scared of a surprise bill. Tonight I received the bill and it was double than normal. R3566 where I normally pay R1800. I was billed on the new contract for the complete month of July and if I add up the statement I dont get to the amount. I budgeted on R2500 at the most. I also phoned customer care with no joy. Can someone please help as I am a loyal customer and never had any problems. I have been a customer for more than 4 years and if this is not fixed I will cancel my account next year when my contract finish.
