MTN always has a long queue. In Cape Town the Smartsurv House is the only store with up to standard staff. I have an MTN E220 dongle and 2 MTN numbers on contract. I've used this dongle with the sim cards before and they worked. Recently the dongle seems to not read the sim card. Siya (MTN data support agent) and Liza (MTN supervisor) could only advise that I travel to Canal Walk or buy data and do E220 firmware upgrade.
1. No guidelines offered for firmware upgrade
2. I have data on 0741011900 why should I buy more to resolve an MTN product
3. Why can't my data be transferred from 0741011900 to 0737078513 so I can use it for the firmware upgrade
4. Going to Canal Walk is consumption of my time & fuel

The options availed to me gave me the impression that I was in the wrong and that MTN has no alternatives that would simplify this situation. Either way I as the customer will lose out.

0741011900 is due for upgrade or cancellation. If I cancel I lose all my credit. If I keep it, I pay for what I cannot use (fully).
Can I get a response that does not require me losing more than I already have?
