We have an all-in-one multinational printer/scanner/fax that has started to hang every now and again. I spoke to a support consultant over the phone who instructed me to upgrade the firmware. After completing the upgrade I noticed that the printer hasn't taken to the new firmware. I called the call centre again and now I am told that the firmware can only be upgraded at the service centre. They want me to bring the printer in at my cost and time not to mention the loss of revenue because our fax machine needs a firmware upgrade.
This service is unacceptable!
It should not be at my cost and time to upgrade the firmware!
