I have been struggling with Vodacom for the last two weeks on various occasions, it all started when I wanted to remove the contract from my Father's name to put on my own and to get an upgrade.
I struggled to get the account on my name as the call center and Vodacom shops do not know what information they need from the customer to transfer the ownership. Only Midrand knows. When trying to upgrade they just tell you that you don't qualify, they don't tell you why and don't offer any further assistance. Even on a good salary. Vodacom's cancellation department doesn't bother to pick up your calls and when they do they can't tell you how much it will cost to terminate your contract.
At this stage, i would rather pay to terminate the contract and move my business elsewhere
