My contract was coming up for upgrade and I called through to vodacom give them the 30 day notice for cancellation. I was then told that my contract was upgraded already. After explaining that it was not me that had upgraded I was advised that i needed to get an affidavid from the poilce station and send it through to dept and within 2 weeks vodacom will contact me with information.
It has now been 4 weeks and i have had no response. Upon calling vodacom, i am put through from dept to dept with no assistance. when i queried as to how this upgrade was done because obviously i would have to sign for it and produce docs i was told that it was online and that they cannot produce the upgrade contract unledd i got the affidavid. upon submitting the affidavid vodacom is still not producing the upgrade documents. Upon visiting vodacom shop a member had notified me that it looks like an inhouse job as they had seen it was due for upgraded and that the number was not even in service as i barely used it because i have 2 contracts on my name.
i expect that vodacom will handle this issue with immediate effect.
