Failed to repair phone

I recently had to hand in my BlackBerry 9780 yet again for repairs. To date, this was the 3rd time in 2 years. The first repair was done in June 2012, regarding a faulty ear speaker. The phone was replaced. The second time, in February 2013, the phone then started having bizarre screen faults. Was repaired and the screen replaced.

Earlier this month (June 2013) the phone started having the exact same screen issues that it was repaired for the previous time. I called in to make sure it would still be under warranty, as my contract was due to end soon. I was assured it would be and handed it over yet again to be repaired. It was sent to the repair center, where it sat for a WEEK without anything being done as the IMEI number on the form it was booked in with differed from the phone. I fought and fought with them, and eventually the issue was remedied. The phone was then sent to JHB, where I was told they could not repair it, and they would replace it. I then heard nothing for a week, until I eventually called again. Eventually, I got through to someone who told me could not be repaired as it was out of warranty. Even though I called about this in the first place.

Unbelievable!
