My son's Cell C phone has not had service for over 2 weeks now even after doing a sim swop last week, it was escalted to the technical departmnet of Tuesday and was advise 24 to 48 hours and service no feedback regarding the phone. Best they credit the account for May as they are very quick to charge.
So my advice is maybe dont move to Cell C if you want to use your phone as they cannot active the current clients phones
