Hello, I"m a pensioner. On the advice of my local Vodacom shop in Greenstone I took my Samsung Galaxy Y PRO Cell phone directly to Vodaworld on May 10 th for repair. The principal complaint was that the phone would not charge via the normal charger & and I would have to charge via USB port on the computer. When this too became erratic & would not charge even after 8 hrs or so (at a time) I took the handset for repair. To my amazement I received a SMS notification on May 11th stating phone was ready for collection.
Upon picking the phone up & specifically asking if the charging mechanism was working properly I was informed that " it appeared to be". To my utter dismay, when I plugged the charger in it did not work. I purchased this phone in November last year, so it is not even 6 mos old!! This level of service is totally unacceptable. I really do not want to drive out to Vodaworld again & nor do I wish to drop off my phone at a local outlet as the turnaround time is ridiculous! What can done about this??
