Went into Cell-C to ask about the i-phone 5 package they are offering. I was given information and a credit check was done. I was approved and I did ask a few questions related to the package. I then wen to vodacom to cancell my contract which was done and then went back to Cell-C to take out the new contract only to be told that NO PHONES AVAILABLE. There was a waiting list. At no time during my initial enquiry was I told of this fact. Now I had no old contract and no new contract. They said there were no i-phones to be had and I would need to do it through their call centre. I did this and was told I would only receive the phone within 7 working days.

Now I sit without a contract and no services on my phone as well as being pre-paid and having to top up my phone which is costing me more in the long run.

The services was absolutly disgusting and the manager implied that the onus was on me to ask if phones were available. As far as I am concerned when offering a package you have the goods in stock or you do not offer the package.
