Apple iStore vs Vodacom Vodaworld

My iPhone 5's dock connector/charging port broke and the charging cable was totally loose inside the port, thus resulting that the phone refused to charge. My phone is under a year old and still under warranty. Took it in to iStore Vodaworld for an opinion and they said Vodacom must replace the phone, and not fix it, as iPhones must not be opened. Gave my phone in at Vodacom Repairs at Vodaworld, and the consultant said they will replace it within 7 to 14 working days. After 3 days ingot a call to fetch my phone. I stay two hours drive outside Johannesburg and drove through. Got there, and my OLD phone was given back to me, and they OPENED my phone and REPLACED the dock/charging connector. On my claim/ fault form it stated they did a software upgrade only. SOFTWARE?? this was a HARDWARE problem. so I got to! The consultant was arrogant and said my phone is working, end of story. Now my phone gets purple patches when i touch the screen and the phone switches off a few times a day even with enough battery power. I want a NEW PHONE. NO QUESTIONS, NO STORIES. I went to Apple on my way out of Vodaworld and they agreed AGAIN, Vodacom should give ME A NEW PHONE. WHAT NOW VODACOM?
