REpair of Phone under Warranty taking too long

I received my upgrade on 1 Feb 2013 (Blackberry 9900). Phone gave lots of trouble about 2 months later that only camera was working properly so 18 April I handed it in and was told that it was still under warranty and within a week I should hear and as it was still under warranty it should be replaced. I asked shop assistant if this phone has lots of comebacks and she said yes, I then asked her why I was not told this when I upgraded. I also asked if I could rather then get a completely different phone seeing as it should be replaced as chances are the same problems might happen to the next 9900 I get. She said no. Assistant told me my phone looks brand new and I had all the accessories, box etc to give her. Took 8 days for driver to collect phone ((26 April) yet when I was there I was told within 24/48 hours. I Phoned head Office today (6 May) and was told my phone was logged in again 3 May and they still don't know if it will be replaced completely or repaired and that the unit will only arrive in 2 to 3 days and only then they might be able to tell me something if I am lucky. Norwood Mtn shop did their part wonderfully and it is not their fault but the repair dept.
