SHOCKING SERVICE

I have applied for an account at Markham's 23rd May which is approx. 7 weeks ago. After I filled in the application form which was at the Kenilworth branch, I was told that it takes 48 hours to be approved, however a week after I filled in the app I decided to call the store because it's been way over 48 hours, the store then advised me that the Head office could not get hold of my employer to confirm employment. Thereafter I took a payslip to prove employment where I was the told I need a letter that confirms employment stamped from our H.R department. I get a letter, I take it into the store which was more than 2 weeks ago and the store agreed they will forward the letter to the headoffice. Today I receive an SMS saying that I should call the call centre within 24hrs otherwise my application will be cancelled. I call the Call center, they tell me I need confirmation of employment so it effectively means no one contacts me regarding my application and also the store did not fax anything. I used my petrol to drive up and down to the store, my phone bill is going to be extremely high and still I dont have what I wanted, If this is how service starts then I dont want this acc at all.
