Unfair charge

I was using timeshare at Cabana beach. The window of the sliding door developed a crack. Despite my protestations that nobody in my travelling group had anything to do with the crack whatsoever management was absolutely adamant that i was liablle for the crack. I was coerced into paying R1100 for the crack. I think that this is absolutely unfair having to pay for something which while unexplained management very conveniently blames the occupant for. I do not think that any person would deliberately go out and damage something more so if there is a potential financial penalty involved but management showed absolutely no interest in my side of the story. Very disappointing
